if it is a waste of money for you, why aren't you modeling you own models?

Perhaps you should do a little research and find some better deals on 3d models.

Let us know how that works out for you.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

You are not forced to buy them. Don't try to haggle TGC for cheapper prices, £12.99 is cheap.

i find model packs really useful, even if only to beef up the main content of the game. It's actually (mostly, apart from MP7) good high quality media that rivals some models created by people who are asking a lot more for theirs

I hate to point out the obvious but you have to be a newbie to 3D modeling, because only a newbie would make a post like this! The prices for all the model pack sold by TGC for FPS creator are very inexpensive (dirt cheap) and like game lover said you don’t have to buy them if you think they are priced to high, and if your trying to rally support for your cause it’s not going to happen.
Go search for model packs on the web the same quality as the one’s TGC is selling and you will be in for a big surprise.

Go to Turbosquid and then come back and be happy to pay for what they want for the packs. They are a good deal and they work in FPSC immediately.I echo the sentiments of others in this thread.
You have no sense of value as regards to model packs.
You are a newcomer or haven't devoted much time to game development and media production.

They pay 'That' as you call it because they are experienced game developers who want to improve the look of their game. When you have been a long serving member of the forum, you may then start to criticize the work of others. You should be greatfull that TGC are even putting their time into making them for you you ungreatful piece of....cheese (couldn't think of a word that wasn't against the AUP)

Man.. it makes me so angry when users slam FPSC for no reason

Of course they're a waste of money... but probably the best waste of money you'll ever spend.

Search for "HellHouse" in Showcase.

@portland com-As a modeler myself I can sympathise with TGC and kinda take offence to your opinion. You honestly don't know what goes into the whole modeling process do you? If I were you I would be grateful for having an option to buy such an inexpensive and wide choice of model packs.
Quote: "Go to Turbosquid and then come back and be happy to pay for what they want for the packs."

Indeed. and they wont even be FPSC ready. I suppose you'll come back with a buncha crap freebies from turbosquid asking for someone to convert them and make them FPSC ready in another thread eh?
Way to go starting your foray into FPSC with such negativity.
