I have started my GCSE's at school this year, and have choosen some very coarsework intensive subjects. I didn't have much time to do things, but i recently checked up on the model comp, which had fallen through the roof. But I am glad X-games picked up a new comp, the segment comp.

I am sorry to leave this community, because as many may know, I do not really use FPSC for any games, just experimenting and trying to get my stupid vehicle scripts to work.

Anyway, I am sorry to leave this community, but straight off I have had alot of coarsework, and it keeps getting more and more. I have not had alot of time for gamedev, as we all know the anoying fact that you can get hardly anywhere in gamedev without at least 2 hours a day.

I have left the community for now, and I am greatly sorry for all of those who entered model comp 4.

You can expect to see me in the hollidays and in the summer, where I am planning to host the biggest model comp so far.

Anyway I don't know if anyone even cares about this, but I will check this thread in a while to answer any questions anyone may have for any reason. And X-plosys: If you ever finish my script, please e-mail me.

you can also all expect a joint effort of Klive, Oleg and I comming to you in the future, as it is a charachter I have been working on for a long time.

For now, goodbye, I hope to rejoin the community for the summer of 2008.

Bye. I'm starting my GCSE's this year as well, but I'm determined not to let it take over my life, so I'll remain here, maybe not as active as before, but here nontheless! Good luck. Which courses did you go for?

tyrano man,

I never got anywhere with the script... and gave up. It's not anything I need to work on at the moment, but if I get to that point again I may pick it up.

Best of luck with your studies.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Fair enough. I think I might keep forum dwelling down to a minimum when we get down to the really hard stuff. What I should say is that I don't want GCSE's to completely take over my life. Anyway, you just remember;

I get that from my parents all the time. They "expect" A*, they "expect" a commendation, they "expect" me to do A level. I "expect" an apocolypse. But hey...

It's good to see that you're putting in the effort... well done I'm heading into the 2nd GCSE year at the moment... that means loads more exams and more *sigh* coursework.

I'm fine with exams, its the coursework that gets me. Oh and by the way, im not fully quiting gamedev, just the forums for now (and FPSC for that matter). I'm still working on a different game.

Ok dont tell your teachers i told you this. But you'll prolly find this out after your sats anyway. The SATs are to tell how well the school is doing. it doesn't matter if you completely screw up your SATs, as your groups for GCSE are actually set before the exams. Just try your hardest in the actuall exam, but its nothing to get worried about really.

The school just tells you that the SATs are important to get good grades for the school. But if you individually screw it up, then it doesn't really matter at all. As they look at your performance throughout the year, not just on the exam.

SATS are the worst idea since... well they're not brilliant.
All they are really are exams for the sake of exams. Don't get too worried about them, they're easy enough to get through.
