First off lets get the team request out of the way so you can see my story and game
I need:
A 3D Modeler with RPG experience
A 3D animator
A texture artist with some RPG experience
A conceptual artist

The team site is http://www.malicegames.com/

I will be the programmer and head of business and will arrange you according to your attitude and your social abilities

I am NOT using dark basic pro so if you have a problem with it i would like to know. This is a rpg with an FPS interface. You can travel and upgrade weapons.
If you are an artist we will need you to make characters and buildings and vehicles and such
This game basically sets off when you take a space cruise to mars and then something goes wrong and you are sucked to earth. On earth tyranny is the game and you are enslaved, until you decide to rebel. Then you are off to fight the evil in the world.

Arena System
Online Score Board

C-Dud client (allowing you to play online)
Level Editor

This is a RPG with an FPS User Interface, set in the future. If you were in a RPG you would usually just click your actions, where in here you can play the game as if it was halo 2. Use your arsenal to destroy your enemy. Grenades and Sniper Rifles, Assault rifles and rocket launchers. You can even make your OWN weapon. A level editor will be included in the mix so you can make houses and citys, and if you beat the game... a planet!

Vehicles and Planes will allow you to go place to place and parachutes will allow you to sneak into enemy camps. Various technology and gadgets will allow you to many many things like disable computers with a watch or grappling hooks.
We plan on adding alot of features. I am typing a design document and will include it in my demo.

basic engine (hud under development)
(more images soon)

I am working on some shader FX and i dont have any models so i hope that i get some team-mates to help with my project.

Going to be a little harsh.

But this is not really a good Team Request, wickedly kick it. I should've forseen every possible WIP being called WIP & Team Request, lol.

Let me explain what is wrong:
- There is no overall concept of the game. We can't say what the game is about, what is special, what is normal, what the story is. For a team request, you need a very extensive description of your concept, backed up with imagery and/or textual descriptions. A website, forum, team structure and the like would help too.
- You use terms as revolutionary, which, seeing your concept, isn't really the case. What I can deduct is that it's a FPS with RPG elements.
- You should really have waited a while, until you DID finish coding the HUD. A WIP needs to impress, not say 'well, it doesn't look good because...' - all we see is a wall, a gun, some effects and a crosshair, plus the claim that everything is done in the background. Would you believe someone who said that?
- You leave many things vague: Your not using DBP, but what áre you using then?

To get a team, you need to be able to ensure potential teammembers that the project is worth the effort, that it's going to get done. You do neither of those.

I recommend you read this post:
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=109365&b=19

In the meanwhile, I feel this'd be better if locked for your own mental safety. Of course, if you do fix all of this, I think you should repost it or if you get the time before the mod-squad gets in (maybe they do agree with it, you never know) edit it, I'll retract all of this.

This is a screen shot of an enemy (the ball) (the shotgun is a weapon for the user to pick up)

Update!
We are now working on a level and will release it as a "beta", but since there is no interface for the leveling system yet, you will just fight a bunch of spheres stationed in a very simple city.

@tha_rami: Quite harsh, but very well put.

@wickedly kick it: Keep it up. And push forward.

I thought these forums were for people using TGC products to make games... not people using TGC customers to make models for them?

Sounds like you are making a game in some other language and are posting here looking for modelers and texture artists. Surely there's a better place for it than here? Maybe 3D Chat?

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

You can post for individual items in the 3D boards. You can't show any non-TGC program-made work in WIP, but I think you can in Programming Talk. This is an unwritten rule and if you think about it...

It makes total sense!

Really.

C as in DBC or C?

* If DBC, please post here, this forum is for you and my apologies.

* If C/C#/C++, don't post here, this board is for TGC product WIP's only - Programming Talk is more fitting for your project, it being a non-TGC related project.

The big deal is that if TGC would start with allowing one non-TGC post, we'd end up with ten-thousand RealmCrafter, C++, Visual Basic and I don't know what kind of languages here on this board. If a project is totally not related to TGC, it belongs in another board (Geek Culture or Programming Talk).

Going to be harsh here so be nice. You're seadome team request was just pre-rendered models* in there no sign of coding or the project just...
BLAH!-100% etc...
So...
Either way this game looks nice can't wait to see more. *I know this as you're models was too high-poly for DBPRo.
But anyways this is going to be the only harsh thing I'm going to say to Tha_Rami.

Let's be harsh back then, and it's the only harsh thing I'll say in reply if Deathead keeps to his word.

If you can't see the difference between the Seadome thread and this one...

The 'blah' in the Seadome topic was extensive enough. The prerendered models (media) were extensive in showing the aimed style (concept), the level layout (media), heck, it even had a Game Design Document (concept) with descriptions of all 21 characters (concept), 3 weapons (media+concept), all buildings (media+concept), the story (concept) and a detailed background story (concept). It had a logo (media), a website (links), forums (links) and went into details as to what was expected of team-members (clarity), what they would receive in return (clarity) and all that. I think that is significantly different from this post - not to insult you, wickedly kick it.

Besides it is in a non-TGC language - it should be in Programming Talk or something, shouldn't it?

Wickedly kick it - I'm sorry if any of this insulted you. I wish you the very best of luck with the game and hope it gets done. I definitely would want to see the end-result .

Rami

The current Seadome thread? It shows enough progress. Check out the website and the forums if you want progress. We ain't bothering to show much more until we get much further along with development.

Lol... the forums? We're currently busy with creating the collision system. The only thing we really have at this moment is the Encampment, which, indeed, is a prerendered model of the encampment and the sub.
