Dragon Ball AF is a pile of crap, just something a bunch of kids thought of. GT went way off track without Toriyama's influance, this only futher tant's the DB series.

Excuse my ignorance, but how exactly did GT go "way off track". I've only been watching Z and GT for a short time.

although you speak the truth Arrow i find the DragonBall AF characters pretty innovative in my opinion if Toriyama was ever going to continue his series he would take these concept drawings into consideration.

Wish thet bird studios would think up more but the series was made 20 years ago. GT just lost it.

If you follow DB and DBZ you'ld see how far off is. It just doesn't measure up to the standerd that Toriyama set. Nor did it even have his hand in it, he wanted the series to end with DBZ. If you finish DBZ you'll see that the GT has some serious plot holes, I could go on all day pointing them out and I've only seen a few episodes of GT. Personally I don't even consider SSJ4 to exist, anything in GT is complete crap in my opinon. The strongest being in the (DBZ) universe isn't even at SSJ3. Gogetta is still a level 2 super sayjin, and he's stronger that all the Ki's, greater Ki, even Supreme Ki, and these guys are, for lack of a better word, gods. With GT and AF, it only makes it less beleavable, you seriously expect me to beleave that all of a suuden there are bad guys that are 100's of times stronger than the greatest god?

By the way, DBZ isn't my fav anime, it's my friends which is why I'm stll watching it. My favs are Tench Muyo! TV (Tenchi Universe in America), Evangelion, Lain, and Rurouni Kenshin. Also I just stated reading Video Girl Ai, and I'm already a fan, can't wait to get the next manga.

That what I say, Funimation must be stopped, this kinda crap has to stop. I'm tried of these weak America companies destroying the orginal artists work with there edits, bad dubbing, and the rare complete story change. Why the hell would they edit something they have no plan on putting on tv?

My guess is one thing, Money. Evil companies are wrecking anime as we speak just to get a small salary.

On another note anime is dieing, in Japan there is an overflow of it and they are running out of ideas, fast. Just scrape together anything we can think of on 5 seconds and hope it works.

Great examples of this are, Prince of tennis, a friggin anime where all they do is play tennis, it has a primtime slot. The countless pokemon rips. And transformer rips.

I serious doubt amine is dieing, just because a anime about a sport doesn't mean they're out of ideas, look at Jam TV or PingPong Club (not sure if that's the real name). Remember, books have been around for ages yet people still think of something new. Anime is having it's best era since the 80's, last year it grossed around $400,000,000. Also we don't get to see some of the real cool stuff untill it's ran it's course in Japan. As long as anime stayes Japanese everything will be fine.

But I am in Japan now and the anime here absolutly suxs (so does the TV). Only the good stuff gets out to other countries. But you have to come to Japan to see.

Man DBZ fights where the longest fights, a whole 20 episodes representing less than an hour of fighting but believe me it was all worth it at the end

Jet Li can never be Goku, and I'm not to sure about Jackie either.

My vote for Goku should be Robin Shou (Liu Kang - Mortal Kombat).
He got the looks, face, hair, body & fighting skills (Mortal Kombat) and he got the innocent & funny character (Beverly Hills Ninja).
