I have an ASUS gaming computer, and a ENT8800GTS 3d card. As well as 2GB ram. But still, my FPS in FPSC is still around the 20's to 10's! Whats happened? Does it have something to do with the dynamic shadows in the level?

So a Shepard said to his flock; "Thou shalt be confuseth!" and so they were.

Probably. Did you turn them off and run it again to check?

Make sure you are on the latest update and check to see if shaders and automatic floor are on.

FPS Creator was not made from C++ so it's laggy. Make shure to use doors and don't use long hallways.

So what if it's not made in C++? Just because something isn't made in C++, it runs slower? No.

this is why one should build the game not from segments but import the level from an outside program

Automatic floor is important?

For some people the framerate goes down when its on.

Ok. That's why I asked for it, because I tried out to build a game with this automatic floor on, and I had lag too.

So if it's not important I will leave it off.

well... how many dynamic entities do you use?

erm... some Demos i made in DBPro run at a several hundred fps, sometimes 1000 and more

making/programming an application using c++ doesn't mean it runs lag-free

it depends on the engine used, the way it's used (level design, shaders, effects like Dynamic Shadows,...) and the hardware specs of the computer

Nighthawk! Why aren't you plugging your own mod?!?!?

I'll do it for you: NightHawk's mod is amazing. It's got bloom lighting, a parralax shader, and a raised framerate!
