Does having a large game (a lot of segments) and a few static entities lag more than having a small game with many entities (static)?

Depends, if the large game with a lot of segments is placed right.
So you dont have big rooms etc.
Then its okey i guess.

And as for the small game, i dont think it would lag.
Depends on your computer specs.
But what you should do is place the entities at the right place.
And if they are your custom made, then you should watch the polycount.
But i think this would take a little longer to load then the larger.
Since (if you are placing lights) FPSC has to load all the static entities.

Cheers,

Its mostly down to level design press [ to show the wirre frame of whats being rendered by the engine in test game press ] to turn it off try to design your levels so as little wire is visible at any once point as possible

Thanks
Adam
