I would like to see a screenshot of WW2 media. I have only seen Scifi stuff, I think X10 will be perfect for WW2 games. Allies, ragdolls, fantastic lightning and water.

you'll have to forgive me for being so 'creative' with the scenery in my screenshots and not showing the effects on a detailed level, but heres the 'Raknos' alien character wielding the new weapon

LOL it looks like the lasers aren't quite lined up yet You should make a charge up were the claw things at the end of the barrel have to open up and start spinning around!

that's because i forgot to add the firespot to the end of the weapon

i was going to but it was a very subtle animation that was hardly noticeable.

that was a quick hack at a file (only change made was the colour) but I'm trying to see if i can get it bigger and wrap some sort of coil around it as you can customize the laser mesh

I have to say, that that is truely fantastic!

I have a couple of questions =]

We know that projectile weapons do not work in muliplayer, but do you know if laser based weapons will or not?

Do lasers have to be a single shot? Or could you hold down the fire button and shoot a continuous beam?

Also, what kind of bullet hole does the laser leave? Can you leave a melted patch on a metal wall for example?

I understand if you cant answer those questions as I know some things are still being kept under wraps.

That is one cool weapon...I love the fusion chamber and the transparent sight, really wicked looking!

Hehe, you sure likey-likey that bloom...it hurts my eyes looking at those screenies, like a nuclear blast.

there's an easy answer to all your questions that wont make me feel like some X10 Q&A machine, so I'll just say the laser/trail is simply the VWEAP muzzle-flash.

it's not even out yet and already I have game ideas for when it does.

2 the health numbrs have a new style, is that the new x10 style
