This is a small part of a program I am writing. I want to be able to enter text and it is displayed on the screen sequentially. When 36 lines of text are on the screen, I want the text to scroll (ie, the top entry is deleted and every thing moves up one). Its hard to describe but I have included the source so you can see what I have come up with. Its almost done except that when you get to the 36th line (I don't want to display more than 36 lines) it scrolls up but double prints your last input.
Please take a look.....I really can't do this on my own!

The easiest way to fix your code it to put all code that amends the array into a separate function.

I normally do Ian, but I only left the room for a couple of minutes and she seemed busy playing on Vice City so I didn't bother, now I know though.
