I continue to hastle Rich Davey about it; I've sent him the materials neccessary for it awhile back. Unfortunately, I'm told he's fell victim to Halo 3-itus! Hopefully he'll have the time to do it soon though.

Quit the swearing.
We are doing everything we can (Keith has already covered the details) to get everybody their badges. We are serious about the BOTB and think it is a positive asset for these forums.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

That's swearing? Really? Sorry, I had no idea. I guess eight years of The Simpsons will do that to you.

I would try to get one of my future games entered, but not until X9 has Dark AI. I need Dark AI before I do any thing major with fpsc, I have no will otherwise.

I need Dark AI before I can use FPSC X9.

Me too.
Is there a place that states why they received them?
I mean, are you going to state the name of their game, and why it was selected?
You know, like a hall of fame for those who received the award.
Otherwise, new people won't have any idea as to why these guys are elite.

Is it just me or is the link in the newsletter to Butter Finger's game not working? I've been wanting to play it for months now but even on his site it takes you to this broken link... I thought they would make sure it worked for the newsletter but I guess not.

It worked at the time the newsletter was published, all links are verified.

Congrats to all badge-holders. You can now park in the spaces closest to supermarket entrances, and possibly get concessions in selected cafes and cinemas. Disclaimer: I hold no responsibility for anyone heeding my advice.

Yep; I e-mailed Rich about it yesterday with your info. I had sent your info off before as a separate e-mail, but it might have got lost in the shuffle with him. Hopefully he'll have you sorted out soon.

Did you see that your game made this month's Newsletter?

Hey, this is re broken links.

Basically, I've uploaded both a couple of times now, but because they aren't getting very many download, Filefront keep scheduling them for deletion.

I'll leave it uploading tonight. And If I can dig it out I'll try and put up Meat too (from Nvidia).

Yeah. well, I'm proud. What can I say? It's not like it's the only deadly sin I indulge in. I was excited to get a badge, and I didn't want the idea to go riker9 on us.

This is the model I created for the badge (Note: the gun is from FPSC):

I thought about using the grenade instead, but I felt the .45 was more symbolic of FPSCreator.

Thanks, it's just something I put together in Lightwave. I had to keep the detail simple as it was going to be used for a badge.

Thank you very much Keith and to all those involved. It's a great incentive for other developers to stick with a game and get it finished.

Congratulations to all the other badge holders, I hope to be seeing more badges dished out during the coming months
