I have problems with segments that I made using Firma Segment Creator and AC3D modeler. When I create segments using Firma Segment Creator, I can't assign different textures to floors and ceilings. How do I fix the UV mapping on the staircase?

Click on "Download" or "View". I tried to post another image but I think that this forum allows only one image per message. The ceilings are supposed to be white.

I textured the staircase wall in my 3D package. I forgot to apply uv mapping to the wall. I applied uv mapping to the wall and copied the fixed version to meshbank folder but after deleting the existing wall, saving the game level, quitting FPSC, deleting *.bin and *.dbo files, running FPSC, and placing the "fixed" wall, I still get the unfixed wall instead of fixed wall.

ok you need to open your uv map in your 3d program then export it as say jpg (it should look somthing like this)

then open it with your paint program apply your textures to the different areas (it should then look somthing like this)

then go back to your 3d program apply it to your model and export it, you should now have 2 files 1 .x & a jpg or tga .

open Segment Creator open model apply this 1 texture & bobs your uncle it should work .

hope this helps

I tried to edit the UV texture mapping but I didn't know how to do it. Can someone edit the UV texture mapping for me? If you need the 3D model file, it's named "C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\meshbank\scifi\moonbase\stairs\stair_a\stair_a_edge.X"
