I have started bing a 3D modeller now and i got a few problems.

I have Milkshape 3D, and Lithunwrap
Every time I try to make an item for my game, its either one colour of the pic. (ex: head is pink, body is blue)
and everything is out of place, can somone who is very good at this stuff tell me how to do it?

ok.... how about making a gun help? I want to make a gun (weapon) that can shoot out of your hand, lightning, or rockets, im very noobish of this stuff so pls help me out
