This is my entry for the PGSP Winter Contest.

The game is called The Violence of The Lambs.

------------------------- BASED ON TRUE EVENTS --------------------

The game is set in my home town of Lincoln in Lincolnshire. Several months ago, scientists created a Sheep - Human hybrid, approximately 15% human. They planned on using its internal human organs for transplants. Even its brain was partly human. Initial testing was good. But there were side effects. The sheep became violent, and out of control. It went wild one day and killed a couple of scientists.

The research company had to kill it off before the government investigated. But the sheep escaped. The company lost its location and covered the whole thing up.

After a few months, the sheep appeared at a farmers market and was sold to an old Irish farmer living in the near by village of Saxilby. All was good, until the farmer went on holiday to Ireland.

Then it began.

The sheep bread with the others on the farm, and a new bread of evil was born. They on a rampage, killing as they went, swarming the local population an cleansing the land of us. And on November 28th 2007, humanities greatest threat meets its maker.

There mission is simple
Kill all human life and take on the title of the dominant species.

Yours is even simpler
Kill or be Killed.

Prepare to experience The Violence of The Lambs!

(Screen shot provided, Ps please ignore huds as they will change.)

Any and all (constructive) comments will be helpful and greatly appreciated. Please tell me what you think and ideas to make it better.

Thanks in advance.

I had said "looking great" or "You could do this to improve the game" but I cant see.
Maybe my eyes just popped out or something but i cant see the picture, My eyes are very sensitive and can only spot Jpeg´s ( ) so if you want my comment, please post a screemie in Jpeg.

I am not serious about the part with my eyes but not everyone want to download a picture to see it.
Also the forumrules sais it must be in Jpeg or Png.

Good luck with game, great story but I can only find four words that sais what you are going to do in the game.

Sorry about the screen shot. I will post the jpeg format.

Also, I thought of the idea based on a dream my cousin Matt had a few years ago, except he had me my brother, him and his brother battling the sheep with melee weapons as it was only melee weapons that effected them. I then searched youtube for stories on sheep and I found the trailer for black sheep, that was yesterday and I'm gonna see the film tonight, it looks really good.

Any way, sorry for the screeny problem.

I think it's looking really great! It looks like you're going for detail and that's what we all want to see. Nice job so far.

P.S. HTML image tags do not work. You have to use BBC type codes. Click on the "image" button when you want to post a screenshot and type in the web url to the image.

Looking nice!

And love the story.
Its partly funny, but also partly serious and creepy.

But are you going to make your own models for the sheep?

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

Yeah I definitely will. I haven't done a lot on the game recently but I am speeding things up now and am working on several other aspects of the game.

So far I have really sooped up the plot so its got much more depth and not just boring shooting all the time.

I will post a new screen shot soon.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Got a new screen shot.

Lighting sucks I know, any comments to help?

That shows a part of the level set in the research area of a university so that is what I was going for. I need some help trying to make it really scary and eery though.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I think it was back in march or may, something like that, scientists did actually create a 15% human sheep for human organ transplant operations.

This is a link to the daily mail website, its an article about it, I just googled 15 human sheep.

Oh yeah, sorry. Forgot to give you feedback.

Looks pretty good, but I would investigate using Wizard of Id's high ceiling segment, so those lights don't make it look so cramped. Good use of piping, the geometry is tasty.

Yeah I thought that about the ceiling, but I didn't know there was a 'high' ceiling model. I've tried searching for it, does anyone have a link to it?

Thanks

No, its based on a dream my cousin had a few years ago about killer sheep attacking us in his house and we had to fight them off with swords and stuff.

But I've changed it lots since then.
