I got enhanced animation, and all the commands appear to work (least what I've tested so far), except for EnAn_AnimInsertKey. DBP does not seem to recognize it. It turns blue when typed in, but it does not recognize the command when compiled.

Can I see how you are using it in your code?

The SYNTAX for the command needs to return a value. Here is how it works:

Is there any downside in performance to enhanced anim?

i tried the demo but how well does it scale up for many characters o the screen at ht esame time?

I'd be happy to send you a demo version of EnAn if you like. I will be doing a big update to EnAn in the next couple of weeks though, so you may want to wait until then before you evaluate. There are some speed optimizations that I need to apply
