Oh, i know how to fix that . If you exported it from 3dsmax using panda x and your object has no animation then you must turn the animation and bones off, otherwise dbpro just crashes with no error.

Hope i helped

I've sent an e-mail back. The general gist of it is :

Cinema4D's .X exporting routine is pretty awful - as Rich has pointed out to me when I've had the same problem, their format seems to be totally at odds with what it should be.

You can get the .X exporter to work, but its seems to be limited to around 10 or so objects - not really much use.

So, the best way is to export it to .3DS and then use something like Deep Exploration to convert that to a .X file.

I was wondering, does GMAX export .3DS format?

Kewl, cheers . I've got GMAX, it just never occured to me to see if it exported .3DS files since patch 4 disabled .3DS support and I forgot that it is now back in again in patch 4.1 <SLAPS FOREHEAD>. I would like to have a go at playing with model animation again.

Cheers for the feedback though

Question is, do you still require paying fees even if you don't profit from your game in revinue, i.e. Public Domain or GNU?
