Hi people i have got a propsition for you,
i have made models in blender and other stuff but i have no idea
wat to do next so i was thinking why not put up the stuff for download and then sum one could fps ready it for me and then tell me how they didnt it or i could just keep uploading .blender folders and people can fps ready them and post them back
and they can keep the model free
if your interested email me at

dreadfull@hotmail.co.uk

You will need to provide pictures of the models, or some sort of assurance that you are not just phishing... It's not that I don't trust you, but you can never be too careful.

I've put it in but, you will need to do a uv map for the texture because you have two textures. You can have two textures to a model in fpsc but it needs to be dynamic and have the textures already applied to the model.
this is what I've done but the only texture on it is the bin base texture not the garbage texture.

UV mapper works with .obj files. You will have to export it. You could also use the UV mapping tools inside bllender as well. Check the blender forums and tutorials.

Dude. No offence but these aren't good enough quality to be sold.

Quote: "and they can keep the model free"

He is intending it.
If I mis-interpreted it he literally said he was selling these models but if someone made this FPS Ready then they can keep the model for free of charge.

He is Saying. If someone helps him they get to keep the model FREE. It's a bribe to help him.

To james hardy like Sloan said you can make the UV's in Blender. It's very easy. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/UV_Map_Basics

He is giving them away.

They are pretty basic but keep at it you will only get better at it. Take the gas can, If I remember from my military days the top edges are more rounded and a handle is on top. Search for images of what you want to model and re-create them to the best of your ability.

I found Blender to be a little not so user friendly. I bought a $50.00 book on how to work with it but have hardly messed with it. I should though.

I have a copy of Lightwave that a friend with a video business gave me and I mess around with that but I don't own it. I do own Milkshape, GameSpace and 3D canvas and don't really mess with them either. I love that Lightwave just can't afford to buy it. LOL

If you do a search here I am sure you will find a tutorial and information on how to get your models FPSC ready. Maybe by Devildog? I know the info is here
