Ok. Do you want your morning coffe today, master, or would you prefer the beer?

I actually find your post kinda mean. I mean:

Quote: "not all of you can spell that well that you should be tellin others how to... and if u can't read + understand this, then u outta find sum other place 2 waste your time..."

Spelling was not our problem. Txt Spk was.

Quote: "and what's the deal with accusing or incinuating the guy of faking his presentation of his work... anyone got any substantive facts to show as much...
"

It's just we get very few decent programs made with DB, so naturally we were curious. We believe him now.
Quote: "what religious discussion... i didn't see any..."

There wasn't any arguing, just a little religeous conversation.

Quote: "ignore the troglodites"

Harsh

Quote: "only respond to constructive critiques and people really interested in game dev"

Constructive critiques, yes, curious question, yes as well. You cannot ONLY respond to critique.
And as for people 'really interested in game dev', I think most of us here are, I think you'll find.
Quote: "the rest of em are wasting your time"

So... You're wasting his time too?
Quote: "you guys really should lighten up... "

You can talk.
Quote: "mean spirited, callous, and out of order..."

So's yours.

But, siing as you are on a flight from the pacific, we'll let you off.
This time.

It's generally accepted forum rules that you should speak in the best English you can, and text speak doesn't qualify. Us leaving because you can't be bothered to type properly is like saying "Me and my chav mates are going out on the town so anyone who doesn't want to get knifed yet still leaves the house deserves anything they get"

Or not so much

But still.

I don't fear public humiliation, because I believe that you are in the wrong, where as that's probably me being over condfident.
I beleive you were the one who first brought up all of the 'old news'.
Either way, the point remains thhat we are both now spamming up this thread, and should stop posting.
And as for my work... see the attatched file. No where near as good as yours, but almost reacing his quality.
Kinda.

The reason my stuff is not as goo quality as yours is because you've been programming four or more years than me.
As for spelling, It was TEXT SPK, not spelling.

Ahemm...are you, Red? YOU'RE the one who keeps going at it.

Anyways....Bat, do you have an official webpage for RTM? I would like to see it if you do. I think I know a couple of people who would be interested in RTM, and I think I would like it for a level editor/maker, rather than using the 'make matrix' code to build all of my levels.
And do you have an official price for it yet? Or will it be included in the free applications section for DBC?

Look me and INH have apologised to Bat for our initial comments, we've accepted the work was his, and everyone else has gotten on with it, so just pull your head out of your arse and let us get back on topic.

Also, for the record
Quote: "everyone in the world wide web doesn't necessarily speak english as a first language..."

Hence the best English you can not necessarily perfect English.

But anyway, rant over, looking forward to the demo Bat, I should have my own computer set up by then so I'll be able to download it and have a look properly.

RTM runs on windows and i haven't tested it on mac.

And About the price...We worked with another company named Softedge on this so they will decide the price.I think you guys should wait till november,After this month the demo will be out and we will launch RTM's Website.

You can contact me by mail and i'll introduce you to our partner company so you can talk about the price.

Agreed.
You know those tables with the transparent tops, bat. How did you do that, because there isn't a 'ghost limb' function in DB, and models with transparency seem to lose their see-through-ness when imported into DB?

If it takes a second model to make the other part of the table don't you have to hard code a unique loading routine for each individual object?

Nope..It dosent take much time.. After clicking the thumbnail it takes about 1 sec to load the whole table.I think the demo version will prove that.

Looks good. I'll check out that demo when its released. A few questions though. Can we import our own models? Will the program come with models? Can you export the map file so it could be used in a different program (Such as a game.)?

Yes..You Can Import Your Own Model..But Not In The Demo Version.
We Will Provide some models with the software. In the future we will release model packs. You Cannot export the map.But the maps are all given in a folder called "maps". So If You Want To Use Them Into Your Game You Can Simply Copy It From That Folder.

If you gonna have somthing jump ot, don't let us see it's face, and make it a moving object, not an image. Images are tacky, kinda. If the object jumps out at you, have it's cloak come down and reveal a time or whatever. I'll make you up a movie to show what I mean, give me a sec...

RTM demo is now available.Download the DEMO from http://eternity.freeweb7.com/RTM.zip

It does not have any virus. It's safe and secure.

Please note that,

1.The demo will expire next month and after that you will no longer have any access to it.

2.The demo version does not contain all of the features.

3.There are some errors in the demo version. But the full version is ok.

4.The load and save system does not work.

As you know i am from Bangladesh and it's quite hard to find market here in my country. Everyone here wants to buy games but not software. They are not going to spend 434$ on this software when they can buy the pirated versions of 3DS Max and Autocad at less then a doller. Software piracy is killing us!!!!

Hey Bat, the link to the site doesn't work at all. My internet browser (Mozilla Firefox) says problem loading page when ever I try to go there.
Also, I must ask how much RTm will be. And, can the demo import textures?
The main thing I worry about in 3D apps. is how good the texturing system is, and they're pretty much the #1 thing I check.

Signatures....peh. I never come up with anything good to say in them. Ah well.

There was some server construction on freeweb7. The link works fine now and you can try it.If it still dosent work then try IE.

We have decided the price and it will cost about 300$(US)
The demo can’t import textures but our full version can. We are also adding the new DBC mapping commands into RTM for better texturing experience.

Quote: "The main thing I worry about in 3D apps. Is how good the texturing system is"

I have to agree on that....To make a real environment you need good texturization...I think RTM can give you that.

The price is a little out of my range...$300 is just not in my budget right now.
However, I wonder if maybe you would consider making a $100 entry-level version? Some companies take the time to make a full version and a more consumer friendly lower-cost one which, while it may not have as many features, gives them the idea of what it's supposed to do and how good it is.
I'm just suggesting this idea, you don't have to go and do it of course. It would certainly open the idea of getting more customers though.

Congrats on making the successful software!!

hmmm.....interesting.i can make that kind of software and the price 100$ sounds good.Tell me more:-

What will be the features? I think i will reduce the RTM price and features so that you can use it as a map/level editor.
