i got what i think a nice pc

Acer Aspira T180
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 processor 3800+ 2,40ghz
767 mb
Windows Vista

all stuff is up to date.

So can you tell me why ftp runs so slow?
I mean its slow when i test levels, and its even slow when i finished them and run them.
And no, i dont have lots of scenery, i only have wall, floor, ceiling and no lights.

So?

Ermm... ftp is a type of web server.
fps (frames per second) is what you're talking about.
What graphics card have you actually got?
I found that shutting down all unused processes (Google Desktop and some others are really little applications that can be turned off) will higher the framerate

Vista alone eats up 512 meg of ram, you really lack in that area

Well Ive played games made with fpsc, I have a mid range PC, they ran slow as well, some unplayable, thats why the project I have in mind on fpsc doesnt use very large maps, or have much in them, just concentrates on a good IP and good gameplay.

here are my specs. They run all the games I play on FPSC without any framerate problems at all. It's actually hard to create problems with framerate now in FPSC.
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 (2 CPUs), ~1.8GHz
Memory: 2GB RAM
Hard Drive: 120 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150
Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor
Sound Card: Internal Speaker/Headphone (Conexant High Definition Audio)
Speakers/Headphones: Conexant High Definition Audio
Keyboard: Root Hub
Mouse: Touchpad or Wireless Mouse
Mouse Surface: Table
Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Like people already said, you're lacking in the terms of RAM memory. 1 GB is a recommended minium if you're using Vista, but I'd say 2 gigs if you want to play games with a decent perfomance.

And what kind of graphics card do you have? For DX9 games I'd recommend something like Nvidia 7600 with at least 256 megs of memory or better, but since you're using Vista, you should upgrade straight to DX10 cards, like Nvidia's 8800 series.

With a little bit of research you can tweak your PC's settings so you wont have to upgrade ram or your video card providing that you are rocking at least 128mb on your VC.

You should look in to it.

That is a joke isnt it.

Get the latest patch, and look into that script on loading entities on the fly.
Other than that make small levels, the trouble I think lies with how it is made from scores of brushes, in other modelling games eds you dont build a room from lots and lots of 100 unit parts, thats what makes it slow, also you would have to look how it optomises the level, perhaps it doesnt have any, so it lags, there is no documentation on it, so not sure how it does it, if it has any at all.

By games I meant games in general, not just FPSC-made content.

Games made with the old FPSC can run easily with less than 1GB RAM, but you can never have too much memory.

vista could be a MAJOR problem.

You need more ram, go for at least 1.5 gigs.
I don't know what video card you have, but I'd go for something at least in the GeForce 7 series.

My Specs:

Manufacturer: Home built
Windows XP Pro
2 GB of ram
XFX GeForce 7950 PCI-E 512mb
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.00 ghz (each core)
Realktek HD Audio

I'm getting max 35 fps on levels with a completely empty 2x2 room (and that's it) with this system:

Core 2 Duo E6420 (2.16GHz per core)
2GB DDR2-667
GeForce 7600GS with 512MB DDR2 ram
