Is their a way to add scores to the HUD. So you get a certain score every time you kill someone or complete a mission?

I'm new to FPSC code but if you can have a heath meter go up and down, would it be possible to make a variation of this (call it score) an have a state in the fadecorpse or leavecorpse FPI to increase it?

No, there is only support for Lives and Health at the moment. However, you could use the 'lives' as a score system, with a value in the death script to add a life. If/When the player dies, they lose a point for their death.

Do it like this, kill monster, adds to your health, pick up item, gold bar or something, it adds to health, do a mission, trigger adds to health.
or do it the other way perhaps, cash = lives.

Perhaps this is possible? I hope so, I want something like this
for my Kill TV video game.

just read what TGPEG said, yep that sounds pretty good, perhaps this can be done.

Well, the bad thing about using lives as money/score, is that it's hardcoded into the engine to cue the gameover screen when your lives reach 0 (And you die)...

So if you tried using lives as currency or score, then you could just gain infinite play-time by racking up a score. Also, if they used all their lives to buy something, then they'd get a gameover if they died right away... and lose everything. I don't know about you, but as a player, I'd be pretty mad, lol.

Do a forum search for something I think was made by xplosys. It's a shop script that might help you here. I can't remember how he did it but you couldn't lose anymore lives after 10 were remaining.
