I have created four robot characters fully compatible with fpscreator. I think they are pretty cool so now I am selling them to you for a small price. $4.50 for four characters.

You must pay through paypal. When you do I will use your email address and send you four emails, each email containing a character.

I hope you enjoy my characters as much as I had fun making them. I will of course be coming out with more characters and more packs. Each of my packs will have a theme to them. I was thinking my next pack would be 'Cultists'.

refund policy: If you are unhappy with my characters for whatever reason then just email me and I will refund you via paypal. This is only valid up to 60 days after date of purchase, paypal rules.

Here are some screenshots, and a link to my web page:

Very nice price, for very nice work. They have a "Star Wars" droid kind of look to them. I see one of them says "texture not complete"; will you be finishing up it's texture? What kind of animations are associated with them? Could you post an in-game screenshot or two? Thanks.

They look great! I am also curious to know if they have the full set of standard FPSC animations. Could you post a screenshot of how one of the sci-fi guns fits in one of their hands?

Bad Monkey,

I'm just waiting for some in-game screen shots before I purchase. Very nice work at a great price.

Best.

ok, to answer all the questions.

Quote: "I see one of them says "texture not complete"; will you be finishing up it's texture?"

Yes, i finished his texture. I just didn't update that composition shot of him, my bad. lol

Quote: "What kind of animations are associated with them?"

They are rigged using the TGC provided biped animation file. So they are fully compatible with FPSCreator. The animations look smooth and have no strange deformations or horrible stretching.

Quote: "can they be used in other projects? Such as DBpro stuff?
"

Yes, you can use them for any commercial or non-commercial product. The only thing you can't do is re-sell them, i.e. you can't sell just the models by themselves, you must put them in a game and you can sell the game with them in it. (i hope that's clear?) You are also allowed to modify them, such as change the animation or texture, or the mesh itself.

If you use them in a dbpro project, then please be reminded that they are animated already with the standard TGC animation.

Here are some in game screenshots:

I hope you enjoy! I can't tell you how excited I am for these characters! I will be making more, so save your money. lol

Bad Monkey

I can't help thinking that you should have created a few more types of these characters such as- Medicbot, warbot, policebot and so on.

These characters are superb and deserve to be part of a 'population' of 'bots'. It would be great to have a choice from a whole bunch of them to populate a futuristic world.

I hope you plan to do more characters of this Theme type.

All the very best of luck with these.

I'm sorry for the wait xplosys but paypal said the echeck you sent won't clear till the 24th.

I'll just go ahead and send you my characters. I don't want you to wait for that long.

I'll also like to announce my "No Worry Plan". If for any reason you're not satisfied with my characters, just send me an email and I'll refund your money via paypal.

Just bear in mind that I am an independent game developer and I don't have a lot of cash. So if you ask for a refund just to rip me off, then shame on you.

But otherwise have fun with my characters,I like running around with them in a multiplayer map.

Oh yeah, I forgot that it's tied to my checking account. It's up to you.

Thanks for the response.

EDIT: I didn't get One Eye Jack, but the rest are cool.

Thanks.

Excellent customer service policy. One of the things I like about buying third party stuff of the FPSC forums is the excellent customer service that comes with the purchase of said products. It makes me proud and it makes my job as a mod a LOT easier and I do appreciate it.
This looks like some good stuff and there is a need for more sci-fi related stuff (especially in the way of weapons and characters).
Good job.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

Wow, great characters! The springy one is hilarious! One thing I'm thinking is that people may take advantage of your refund policy. Hopefully not though. When I get a chance to, I will probably buy this pack. Oh, one other thing: have you considered packaging them in an installer in the future, rather than individually? Anyway, awesome pack!

This refund policy is a good idea. Now we know that nobody on these forums would ever take advantage of a refund policy like that but if one or two do it is far outweighed by the customers he will get by this customer service policy. You will find out that customer service and support will kepp you in business longer that a good product (though that would certainly help).
There is always going to be some lowlife, scumbucket, pirate wannabee that takes advantage of a policy like that but most people are going to appreciate good customer service and that is what keeps them coming back.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

thanks everyone. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to like my work either.

i'm currently working with another artist who is creating some great models. I have human that has half his head missing, and an arm like a snake (or squid). I have a woman who has a head of a long horn bull, and legs like a goat. lol they are some wicked looking cultists!

i'm also looking into custom animations and ai. maybe some angelic looking ghost creature that heals you when you get near her. Or a demon witch with a whip.

Sure, lol, i think i alread sent that shipment. Using them in a contest sounds fine.

I will look into that. it's a good idead.

There is a problem though, are you able to send the packs to an alternate emai laddress as the one you sent them to seems to be having problems

can you send them to fattymatty1@hotmail.com?

Soon I will have updated versions of these characters for FPSCreator x10. I just have to get it in the mail first and test them out.

Anybody who already bought them will get the updated versions free. Basically, the updated versions will just have the normal and specular/highlighting maps added; and they might get a new diffuse map as well.

I've been working on my other models, and did some commission work. I've just been waiting for the release of x10. I'm happy that darkbasic games don't look like playstation 1 graphics anymore.
