I posted these up quite a long time ago, and they got bumped down and the topic got closed because of inactivity. I think someone might still find them useful. I was originally intending to make it a book but never finished it. I probably had worse grammar when I wrote them, but I think it's still acceptable. :-p I'll try to dig up the other ones.

Hope it helps you.

Very useful for newcomers! This'll be another link for the sticky thread! Was there ever a part 3+?

Very helpful; thanks!

I'm new to DBP, but not to programming. Tutorial 2 was very much what I was looking for--building a program and explaining all of the commands, but not getting bogged down in the fundamentals of programming (I skimmed Tutorial 1 )

Hi, in Chapter 2 I'm kind of stuck. On the part of creating the matrix like I put this command in : make matrix 1,10000,10000,70,70

Then I run it I don't see the matrix, the screen is all black...

Oh and I have DBPro.

Hey,

Im a completely newcomer to this sorta stuff (as you've probably heard before) but these tutorials helped me right up to chapter 4 I went to find chapter 5 but to no success, I was dissappointed that such a good indepth tutorial ended so abruptly but i gotta say it helped me alot to get grips with the basics. So bring out chapter 5!!!

P.s anyone know any weapon tutorials out there? they're goddamn hard to find.

Thanks

This is because your camera is positioned at a Y height of 0, the same as the matrix. You are looking at the matrix from the exact side, and because it is flat you can't see it. Just add "position camera 0,10,0" directly after.
