Hi, i'm pretty new to 3D modelling but wondered if I could get peoples opinion on these. Some dont have textures yet but all the screenshots dont have any textures on anyway. If they're good enough then I'll put them up here to download and make them FPSC ready.

I did try posting this before but for some reason the post was closed and i never got a reason.

This is a set of 4 ATM's in a square. The panel is indented slightly more at the top than the bottom.

This row of chairs was actually my first project with 3D modelling.

My latest model, I think i'm getting a little better. Basic computer equipment.

Revolving security camera.

Just a group of signs attached with wire.

My first table, yay!

I was going to make a whole railway station themed set of models so this turnstile had to be included.

They look very good, but you have to include in-game screenshots.

They're definitely not bad, but could we possibly get wireframes/poly counts?

This is how I started modelling, You need to learn texturing rigging and possibly animation in the future. Its a nice start. constructive critism is the the bench model seats are spaced too far apart. your keyboard lacks keys (though this could be done with a very good texture and bump map). You dont need to model each key!

The best peice of advice I can give is what some one once gave to me, Spend twice the amount of time looking at what your modelling than what you spend actually modelling. You will be suprised how much your modelling will improve. Before I model anything I search google for images, during the modelling process I constantly refer to these pictures, despite often using blueprints which of course I look through a few before deciding on which one to use.

Also consider how the model is going to be used in the game, It may not be worth using 1000+ polys modelling the inside of a car if your not going to see it clealy when a box for the seat will do, likewise a gun and arm are going to be pretty static on screen in an FPS so feel free to use extra detail here.

I think the ATM model does need some work though.

Welcome to the world of modelling I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I do, Be carefull though as you may start to see polygons everywhere no matter what you are looking at.

Well thanks for the advice, its greatly appreciated.

I am teaching myself texturing as we speak but in order to create a game i'm going to need to practice my modelling first, i thought getting help with texturing would increase the development speed and I've got a friend working on sounds and music, it's just it can take too long to both create the model then texture it also (although with me doing the modelling i guess only I can realise what i'm trying to accomplish from the result).

But thanks for the advice, i'll keep working on it!
