I have been working very hard for a long time on these texture packs, and I wanted to offer some of them to the community for free and as samples for some of the larger packs.

For those of you who want instant gratification and are uninterested in contributing towards my families indi project, the links are here:

The links above are from my new packs, and here are a couple of more links to free media which I have offered over the past months:

Any money earned or received from this project will go towards my families Indi Project, which will soon be posted in the WIP boards titled 'Driftwood'. This project has been in the works by myself, my wife, children and friends over the past 6 months. We have devoted months worth of work into photography, storyline, concept art, models, music, sound effects and much more.

In the full-blown packs, I have over 200 high-resolution textures with alpha channels. I will be selling the packs on a few sites, but I am offering a discount to those who visit my site directly. I have spent a lot of time with these textures, and you will be hard-pressed to find better textures, especially at the reasonable prices I am asking.

If you are interested in these packs, visit my products page here:
http://www.fantasymultimedia.com/index.php?Doc=products.php

If you are interested in purchasing more than 1 item, email me and I will arrange a multi-item discount.

Now that these packs are complete, I will be putting the finishing touches on WeedWorks then TerrainScape.

Enjoy!

Are these actual photographs (which they look like) or POV-ray rendered images?

If they are computer-generated, then the package that you used must be amazing!

As VatVink pointed out, they are photographs that I carefully alpha-mapped.

I noticed that some of the zip files did not contain the license, I have added the license to the zips and re-uploaded them. for those of you who are interested the license for the free packs are as follows:

Quote: "Anyone is free to download and use these FREE SAMPLE image packs for private and commercial usage. These Packs may NOT be redistributed as part of another pack, nor can they be resold without the consent of Fantasy Multimedia. These packs may not be leeched, hyper-referenced, mirrored or hosted without prior consent from Fantasy Multimedia.

These images are copyright 2007 Ethan D. Keiley/Fantasy Multimedia

Wow Alquerian - you are too kind - this work is beautiful - I can't wait to splatter blood on it

Seriously - one of the night scenes I made - glistening water - star light - wispy clouds - grass, sand, shoreline.... My wife comes over and I say - Look at this Hun - Can you picture some silloettes of soldgers creeping out of the water? She says - That is Way to beautiful - that look like a fantasy world - DON'T YOU DARE put tanks and bombs and guns and blood in that scene! "It represents peace" she says ..... Ah - I love my wife.

Jason - hehe awesome. I think that it is important to strike emotions within games. Be it soft and fuzzy emotions or vengeful, violent emotions. If you can mix those two in some crazy pot, more power to you!

BTW, did you intend to make your wife sound Asian, or is she really Asian?

- No - She's not Asian - Native American, Irish and Swedish. Typical American mutt - I'm German, Swedish, Welsh, and French.

I think my hurried typing may have have that impression - I test to skip/mispell words.. some times producing some peculiar sentances

I agree on generating a mood - visaully - and sound as well - to me is the fun part of all this - where are supercedes techy
