Hi this is my first post here and my first couple of problems, if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated =)

What programs do you use to make cut-scenes for stories in their games and where can i find them?

How can i set the default character entities to use animations from the zombie pack?

I make my cutscenes using several types of software. You can record game footage using AutoScreenRecorder (basic version is free, google it), and import the video into Windows Movie Maker (comes with XP Pro, I'm not sure about XP Home), along with whatever audio you want. I have also made cutscenes using Macromedia Flash, and simple slideshow cutscenes using Photoshop along with Windows Movie Maker.

Yeh often the easiest is to do what luke says....
or you can get a 3-d animation software that supports direct-x, (or find a suitable converter if that isn't the case) and animate yourself. this'll be alot harder and more time consuming, but will probably give you more control over characters bevahiour, etc

How would you apply your cut scenes to the game so they show up while a level is loading and what not?
