Dear fellow game-developers,

we are proud to offer a new texture pack at Dexsoft-Multimedia.

This pack can be used to create industrial sci-fi models / levels and it supplements our last sci-fi texture pack. It offers all you need to use them with or without the use of modern rendering techniques and shaders.

It comes with a manual describing how to prepare images for shader usage (e.g. how to create an alpha channel).

Here is a low-poly sample scene made with this texture pack:

You can find more infos and a few free sample textures at our website:

Best regards,
Frank

Nice textures but lower the price! $29.99 for images to me is a rip off.

Then don't buy it, you cheap skate. You are lucky to get it at this price, he could be selling it for a lot more.

I need Dark AI before I can use FPSC X9.

Well I'm the type who saves money. And no I'm not a cheap skate.edit: And dude you might want to put a watermark on that first pic. Because people could easily copy and paste that into their paint program and make the texture.

Hi,

this is not meant to be a rip-off. I worked very hard to make those packages. We have even model-packages for less than 10 $ at our page, just have a look. We consider this very cheap

Regarding the watermark: We even have a free sample with images at the website. You can try them, you dont have to copy from preview images. But if someone wants to copy from the preview image then it is okay. You are not allowed to use them in your projects but you can check the quality and make some shader tests just to be sure, but better use the free sample images. They have bigger texture size.

I wish you a good day!

Frank

The textures are all painted in TheGIMP in 2048 pixels resolution.

I do my modelling with Lightwave3d.

$30 isn't bad, if you're serious about your project and plan to sell it then that's almost ~1$ per texture which is nothing. Plus textures take ages to make depending on complexity, even photo based ones. So I think the price is fair, Getting this stuff done for freelance would cost loads more too.

those are nice textures. as long as all of the textures were 1024x1024 or larger and you had 25+ textures, then i think it would be worth $30.

Thank you all!

JasonHTML: We have more than 25+ textures (47 in this case) and with additional shader maps you get even more than 240 textures with this pack. This was huge amount of work.

So the price is 29.99 $ / 240 = 0.12 $ per texture
