okay im sonn going to begin my project and need to know some stuff about 2d and programs. whats some good program that most use to design 2d images(user interfaces) game screens sprites textures, adobe photoshop i know is great but i dont want to put that much money into it well i have ulead software photoimpact and cool 3d combined can produce the work and plus avi file for intros animated stuff.and then threre is the fact of actually coding that menu how to begin the program am a bit confused on the technical side?
