Hello,
I've been animating weapons and other objexts for a while now, and I want to start animating custom characters For FPSC.

For most objects, like weapons, the vertex weights are easy, but for characters, I can't seem to figure out how to get the mesh to move properly with the bones.

If it helps any, I'm using Fragmotion.

So, basically, my question is, how can I properly assign the vertexes to the bones?

I added a Picture, if it helps, I think the red lines are direct influence, then the orange are medium strength, and the green are weak influence???

Fragmotion is a pain to rig in.

If I were you I'd rig the model in Milkshape, you don't need to do weights in there. You can always import the model from Milkshape to Fragmotion and play with the weights afterwards.
