I have a trail version of Deep Exploration because it comes with a great polygon reducer.
The problem is when I re-save a 3D file as Directx (.x) and I load it in darkbasic the texture is very dark.

Thus anyone uses this program to, and knows how to solve this.

Here are 2 screenshot from the problem.
This is the .x file exported from the terrain editor.

And this is the same .x file loaded in Deep exploration and saved back as an .x file

I also tried a program called Conv3ds.exe and exported the terrain in 3ds from the terrain editor. turned it in an .x file with Conv3ds.
The result is the same as the second image.

Keep the original picture file and replace the file generated by Deep Exploration. I`m unsure but if I remember there is an option somewhere for saving the texture file out. Turn this off and just copy the original into the same folder you exported to.

Now I have another problem.

It seems that 1 normal is flipped.

No, I can't reimport the terrain, but I can edit the original.
So I changed the angle of the polygon a little bit, and now its OK.
