Up north nea' yorkshire people don' say "the" instead they just say like example...

-go down t'corner shop (go down to the corner shop)

-go t'chippie (go to the chippie

etc.



Also, they say "owt" instead of anything and "nowt" instead of nothing, and "summit" instead of something. And they say "Aye up" as a greeting.

I love British accents.

@opposing force: Wherabouts do you live? I've got family in Stockton and evry time we go up there they speak in a really indecipherable jordy accent and we speak in indecipherable Brummy. It works out fine, pet.

in british, but...
welsh, wish i was english wouldnt have to learn the 'sbwrial' welsh language then. Seriously no one uses it theres on point half of wales is english anyway.
