i have been looking around at model programs and i am VERY new to making models, i was just wondering whats a 3d model maker out there thats easy to use and can make some sweet models

start out using something simple like milkshape or wings 3d, then when you get the hang of the basics move on to a more advanced app like blender

learn blender, you will never regret it.

I started with blender, and did fine.

If it is harder for you to learn new things, you should start with something like Wings 3d.

If you catch on fast, just get blender, pull up the Blender noob-to-pro wiki, and go.

there is nothing you cant do in wings. except animation...
i still use it just because it is FAST. but like i said it doesnt animate or export to .x but that is easy to fix with other free/cheap applications
