Took a break from this game for a while but I am now going to return to it and try to finish it. It is currently called Cell Infex, although that may change before release.

Concept: Its kind of a puzzle/skill game in which the levels take place in various parts of a human body. You have to destroy bad cells by infecting them. When you drop an infected cell, it starts to expand before exploding. If any other cell touches it before it explodes, they are infected too and start expanding until they explode. With any luck this will lead to a chain reaction. To progress you have to destroy a certain amount of cells in each location.

Extras: Certain cells will release bonus infections which make the cells act slightly differently to help you. Here is a key:

To Do: The main game is pretty much done, along with some funky effects. I am currently working on the difficulty settings for the levels to make it a nice progressive game. Then I have the main menu and other finishing touches to add. When its closer to being complete my colleague will produce some music for it.

Screenshots: This is one of the intro screens for a level (set in the Liver):

These are game shots in various places (bone, lung, intestine):

Yo!

Very original! This looks pretty cool.

Interested to see a video, or some form of....moving representation of it, so as to get a feel of how it actually plays. On paper the concept is cool, and the look of it is really nice.

Hey, this looks like fun. As Butter said, original. And a video would be really cool.

I wouldn't call the game idea original (try Boomshine), although the special 'infections' are a nice twist to the concept. Also, the approach and visual approach seem rather noteworthy. This could be a nice little Boomshine clone, if you ask me . Keep it up!
