I dont know much about 3DS, I'm a maya person myself, but when installing the PandaX software, did you have an option on where to install it? I run xp x64 and sometimes even 64bit proggys get confused and try to install themselves in the x86 folder for 32bit apps, I have to tell them "hey, you dont belong there!" and point them in the right direction. Silly computers, they arent very smart

Make sure the plugin is for the 64bit version. Plugins usually have two versions, for 32 and 64 bit. That's almost certainly what's causing the error.

WindowsXP Professional, Pentium 4 DualCore 2.8GHz CPU (64bit), 1gb DDR2 RAM, GeForce 7800GTX, SoundBlaster X-Fi (7.1)

3d Studio Max 9 SP2, Photoshop CS
