i couldn't find this anywhere, so here is my question.

i know there is tons and tons of threads on huds but most are inactive or don't pertain to my question.

I was wondering in a hud (like the common one that comes with a game, not a pop up like a picture) how do you "connect" the parts of the hud that shows ammo/health and so forth to the actual values. is there a script? can it be done within the editor?

all help appreciated. thx.

valkynaz

edit: BTW, if you do come across a thread answering my question, plz post link.

If you mean the numerical displays, then there is a parameter 'numerical' and then "type=x". It's in the setuplevel.fpi.

There's a link in my sig just above the picture, click on it and scroll until you find "Tutorial #4" which talks about making Custom HUDs for Health Ammo Lives, etc.
