Greetings!

I recently purchased 3D Gamemaker, but it doesnt want to run on my system for reasons as yet discovered...;(

In the meantime, I was wondering if any able bodied programmers here would like to assist me with a simple game concept?

I would LOVE to be able to create a 3D first person shooter that takes place in a store or outdoors in the streets...but everything needs to be enshrouded in a thick layer of MIST!

I would like to include (as enemies) GIANT mutant spiders and flying insects...and thats it!

Pretty simple for you guys here, Im sure...but I havent a CLUE as to how Im gonna get it done since I cant run the program...;(

Any chance ther is someone here willing to help a poor old cartoonist without access to game making software?...

Thanks in advance!

So you're basically saying, "I don't know how to program or model. But I've come up with a vague description of a game that I want someone to make for me."

You aren't going to get a lot of help from people here without showing some more progress than a concept. Use google and find some tutorials for what you're using, or be more specific with what the problem is instead of giving up and asking for someone else to do it for you.

well, i really suggest you either learn some serious hardcore dbpro coding, or just fork over a bunch of money to someone else to do it for you.

I personally, as a huge fan of the steven king short story "The Mist," was ecstatic when i heard it was going to be a movie, and i would love to make a game of it, but i personally think that its going to be a very heavy task making a game of suck a great story unless you know exactly what youre doing, or its just going to end up like most of the other 3d gamemaker games i've seen. I want to see this game succeed, but my expectations on such a grandiose project would be very very high.
