I have tried to edit the desert eagle hud from model pack 5 but its really small no matter how big i make it, it still shows up small.

It was the ammo image sise that was the problem.
I posted this before i saw your thread everyhthing works fine now.

What you need to do is specify dimensions for the hud image within the setuplevel.fpi.
