Well, what you could do is make one water decal, then, flip another of the same type, and to it that way.

You have to make sure to use an upsidedown plane then it would work.

Erm!...maybe I am missing something here,I dont use the stock decals much.
But any fixed position decals I do use can be seen from both sides no problem.

Edit: try changing yhe main script to decalfixed.fpi and rotating it to flat in the editor.

@rolfy & x An animated water decal doesn't show if you look from underneath on my computer it don't show the only way I got round this is to use an upside down plane under the normal decal this maybe another graphics card issue.

He! Here's an example, decalfixed.fpi, rotated the decal so it's flat.
When I used decalflat.fpi only one side shows up.
This is an animated decal.

water from above.

Ok. I thought for sure you were kidding. It seems like the last time I used the water decal it could be seen from below, but checking it again, I see that it cannot.

rolfy, thanks. That works well.

Best.

BIG Viking Games,

If you are using the proper fpi (decalfixed.fpi) then use the #1 key to rotate it horizontal (should take 2 clicks) and the page up/down for the proper elevation.

best.
