I have a ton of custom media in my map, but none of it feels like being the material I set it to. For example, I made some sweet I-beams, but when I shoot them, I get the standard dust decal shooting up. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

Inspire,

Are your I-beams entities? Double check the Material Index in the .fpe file. If you set it to 3 (metal) it should resolve the problem that you're experiencing.

Thanks,

Seth Black

I'm testing it now...

That makes no sense. I hit "metal" in the entity maker...

The fpsc entity creator material numbers are off for some reason.
1 is 0
2 is 1
3 is 2

This the reason you are getting dust for concrete which is actually material index 2.
Its best to set the material in the fpe after exporting from entity creator just to be sure.

Yes! It worked! Thank you Seth and rolfy.

Also, when I checked the FPEs of the Model Pack 3 entities, they all have the material set to 15. What is fifteen? When I check the material index, it only went up to ten.
