Right. At EGI, we just invested in a FlashChat facility, and we've tested it out, and it looks good.
But the question I want to ask is; Will it be helpful for you lot?

I know there are other services, such as AOL, MSN and AIM, but often you might not feel comfortable giving your email address to someone you don't know and don't trust.

This would give everyone the opportunity to talk to each other about private things in real-time without the need for giving out email addresses and the like, so I want to know if it would be helpful or not and wether you would use it.

Thanks for any responses.

No, it's flash, so you need Flash Player.

From my experience here, chats seem to last a few weeks and die out.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Oops I misunderstood you, Flash works with Linux so I'll look in to your chat program.

Do you have the .swf posted on EGI yet?
