This is Reealllly frustrating, could any one help.

I have created a basic figure in 3ds. textured it, Rigged it, imported the character animation. every thing looks and works ok. Exported through Panda to directx, I have used an existing FPS file for the figure. But in FPS the figure is walking backwards.

I have follwed the directions for the Panda exporter and can not find any thing wrong.
I have even use the entity maker to creat the fps file but with the same results.

Is there some thing in Panda that I need to switch on or off!

Help greatly appreciated.

Backwards as in frames in reverse (57,56,55, etc) or backwards as in the model is orientated correctly, but the bones appear to be animated in the opposite direction?

If it's the latter, try altering the entity's .fpe file to change the line fixnewy = 0 to fixnewy =180. The model's orientation is off.

Hope this helps...

Yes, just open the *.fpe file and set
fixnewy = 180
