This is all well and good. And despite all the VISTA problems in the world, I think things will work out in the end. Now, Here's a an idea for the mods and TGC. The very first person who gets there X10 in the mail "first" should "ASAP" make a small level. Then make a video, pic and tell us how it ran on your video card at the "HIGHEST" and the LOWEST detail. The first person who can do that and give feed back weather it be in the bug report or just general talk should win a prize from the Mods or Rick V. But I leave that to the mods. Happy thanksgiving and may we all have fun with the new FPSC X10.

Doubt it would happen, and is unfair because some people live farther away anyways, but I will make sure to test it out and post how good it performs with my computer specs.

I was just thinking.... Any bets on who will receive it first?
Obviously it will be someone local. But who? Beta testers are excluded since we need a screenie to prove you have it!

better idea,

whoever gets it first take a picture of the DVD case with your forum name on a piece of paper next to it, and send it to me.

Say it runs bad, and has the shortcummings of fpsc dx9, only with some shaders tagged on, and eats up system resources like no ones business, should they post that also. Would that get a prize as well.
Or are only good reviews viable.

Jon, what happens if that dvd case is drawn on the piece of paper? lol!

Just kidding. I am sure those living in UK will have a big postal advantage over any of us, so this competition is a little out weighted.

This version of FPSC was in development longer than the last one and TGC even held back on releasing it for 6 months to make sure it was the best it could be.I am sure that FPSC Classic was one heck of a learning experience for Lee and the rest of the fine folks at TGC.They are doing this to impress and so far it's looking great.
Any review is welcome as long as it is a reasonable one.
An example of an unreasonable one would be "OMG!X10 really suks"
or something like that.If you are unhappy with something and you present your reasons in a reasonable manner then that is no problem.
Looking forward to the release of x10.

I wasn't looking so much for a review as I was just curious to see who got to be first! Also, that would let me know that mine was coming soon.

I'm sure everyone will be posting their opinion as they quickly throw a game together just to see what it can do, and learn how to work the new features.

Sorry, but dude what the [mod edit] is your problem. If you dont like fpsc then dont use it plain and simple. They go to work every trying to complete as much as they can, and its better than you will ever do in your life time and you still make fun of them, and tell them that their product sucks? Whats wrong with you. I know im sounding kind of harsh but im just in a bad mood. I apologize.
