Well, I'm becoming greatly aggravated from trying to implement bullets in my game. It's the hardest part I've run into yet. Everything else has been fairly simple, and I'm too stubborn to move on. I have tried my own bullet code, other people's bullet code, OzBot's aiming line as an auto-hit bullet technique, and variations on all borrowed code. None have worked. THe closest I have ever gotten is a line that will follow the character around when going forward, backward, left, or right, but will not turn at all and will not follow the camera's mouselook. I did once manage to get bullets to load, but they would appear behind the camera and not move.

So, I'm about ready to quit and go on to something else. However, I really want to complete this game as a message to all of my friends that I can do it and boost our morale so we can begin working towards our ultimate project. If I fail, they'll figure that I will fail on everything else as well, and they won't help me.

So, I ask a much more simple question this time than other questions I have been asking. Are there any shooter games out there already complete with working bullet-based-collision detection? I have gotten to the point where I'm going to have to either have a miracle to help me figure it out (or maybe a really really smart DBPro forum member) or copy someone's code.

Anyone have any helpful links or code? Please?
