How do I load a bitmap? Can I download any here? Can I make them in Paint? Thanks, I'm new. I hear you guys are tough, but I hope you ease up on me.

Create your image as a BMP or a JPG file and use the Load Image command.

Only if it's a large image containing lots of smaller images, use Load Bitmap and cut the required sections out with Get Image.

Luckily it's my birthday today, so I'm in a good mood!

Take a look at this thread too...

Dont worry,

We are only tough to those who ask for stupid stuff. As an example view this thread http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=116576&b=10

This guy came in the forum asking for the entire code to make a game and we gave him full support.. Never heard of him again.

TDK is one of the greatest programmers here on this board.I think you should follow his suggestions.

Happy Birthday!

And I did use the search, I couldn't find help on this. Thank-you very much. I'll just find the load command in the help section of the game.

Could it be that the file isn't found? or maybe you forgot make a matrix?

Make sure that the texture is in your project folder and make a matrix before you try to put a texture on one.

I'm going to put this here because you will ask for it anyway. http://web.umr.edu/~klpwdf/codez.html

Ok.
To begin with, befor you start a program you pretty much have to click on 'new' in the file menu. This will prompt you to put in a name. PPut in any old thing and it will automatically make a folder for you in that name. Put all of your media in that folder.

Speaking of images, one day you may wonder on how to make seamless texture images for your matrix. Personally, i'm not too good yet at making too many seamless textures. But a free image program called GIMP has a function where it trys to make a seamless image, plus it has alot of other features I think you might find useful.
