Ive built my map a little too close to the edges, Id like to move it more into the middle of the grid, is it possible?

I see a select marque, and a copy, but no paste, otherwise id select it, copy and delete the old and paste back in the level in the place I wanted, I just want to move the level more into the centre away from the sides of the grid and give it more room, is it possible some how?

whats the marquee tool tool for, is it just selecting large areas to cut, there is a copy button, not sure what that is for, one could perhaps make one of those segment pieces, whatever they are called, the prefabs, thats it, perhaps one can make one of those, perhaps thats what the marquee tool is for, making prefabs.

I found no use for it. The selection tool is used to select a segment quicker, rather than going into the segment browser or looking at the scrolly thing on the left.

Inspire, your talking about the pick tool, there is a marquee selection tool and its for selecting and deleting more than one entity at a time, its not for select and paste though.
I have never bothered to make prefabs but my guess would be that only the segments to make one would be present in the map at time of creating.
Its merely a time saver.

erm yeah you just select using the "area select" tool then click edit, copy, then click to place the new copy, beware unless the bug is fixed this converts all static entities to dynamic

It would definitely be nice for a future update to be able to select and move sections of the map.

Problem is that when you copy entities, they all become dynamic, which means you'll spend a lot of time changing the properties again.

You basicly can just use cut instead of copy like I said above.

Well i did mention that but its still usful, most likely quicker than rebuilding from scratch and you should notice it needs moving before you have placed everything in the case described in this topic
