you guys do some great products.
Been needeing this for my next project.
Would of been nice to have a .x format for fpsc users, dx10 is just around the corner with fpsc dx10 version coming out soon, you would pick up sales from that with .x format.

Thanks for the compliments.

New packs are already in the making (e.g. a machinery pack).

Regarding .x format. I can export those format directly from Lightwave or from Milkshape 3D. I just need somebody to check if it works in fpsdx10.
So maybe somebody could help me checking this out?

Your welcome.

But seriously, this is some of the best modelling i've seen.

As I said before, these models'll be perfect for my game.

Keep it up.

I'm getting MagicFPS soon, what modeling program did you use.

Hi Troy Chambers,

I do all modelling in Lightwave 3d. I decided to use this software because it competes with Max, Maya, XSI but to a fraction of the prize.

All textures are created in TheGIMP. The latest version of GIMP can rival Photoshop easily but for free.

By the way: I used only one texture and one uv-map for the models so they can be used easily in every engine out there.

Best regards,
Frank

Looks nice. A lot of the model packs I see published here are too texture based, and end up looking like something out of a old 3D game.

Thank you Greenster.

I always try to find a good compromise between creating texture and polygons. Both are important. The model gives the shape while the texture starts to make it look real and then you have to apply good lighting to finish the work.

Regards,
Frank

Hello to you all,

since some of our customers asked for it: I rendered a few models in a real-time scene. It is still not a complete level but here you can see that normalmapping and stencil-shadows look nice on our models:

Besides that we made a new bundle offer at Dexsoft:

http://www.dexsoft-games.com/bundles.html

Just like last Christmas we have one FREE pack as a one-week offer / gift.
It is our Barrels and Crates model pack.

Have fun
