Yeah, it will work. But my one is better and I got it for half that price. Admittedly, I bought the parts, and used some bits from my old PC (monitor, case, etc) but adding up all the money I spent, it came to about £350. The only thing one my PC that is worse is that I only have a 250gig hard drive. And I dont have a HD DVD reader or anything fancy like the TV Tuner or HD audio. But even so, adding those to what I spent wouldnt take it up to that price.

it gets easier all the time, your best bet is to buy a barebone system and build from that as they come with instuctions on how to do the rest then you jusy bung in the windows CD, and when thats done every other CD that came with the parts.
