Hey everyone, I'm new to this so I just have a couple of basic questions.

1) I want to create a game to play with one or two of my friends, can I create a multiplayer game or at least a game where me and a couple of friends can play against each other? If so is it hard?

2) Can you create your own models and textures and is that hard? I'm good at photoshop and usually get the hang of computer things quickly and was just wondering if it is possible to create 3d models and textures to use on the walls and certain stuff like that.

First, welcome to the forums!

1: You can create single & multiplayer-games.
Multiplayer-games are very easy to make...
You cant put any bots in it though...
But its very fun to create basic levels...

2: You can create your own models, and textures..
There are some tutorials around here..dont know the link.

Hope that helped.

Sonic, you can use Signs to create walls, floors, wall hangings, etc. using textures you make in photoshop. A good modelling program to start with is Milkshape, which offers a free trial.
