Hey evryone. I want to ask that, i cant seem to hold still the balls that i am making for a game. i used the static friction and made its value to 0.0, and when they deflect off the sides of the table, they bounce alot, i dont want them to bounce, i tried by putting bounce coefficient to -100, but still the balls are bouncing, i just want to slide them thnkyou...

IIRC, static friction is what holds something still when it's stopped. You need to change the dynamic friction to effect an object in motion.

In any case, this is the thread you need.

Did you check the link? There are all sorts of material settings there. Your balls might also be too light.
