Hello to all.

As some of you may know, I am a beginning to learn how to make textures. I made a simple model to practice painting in Blender. It only contains basic colours, so there is no actual cool texture. But I guess it may be useful for someone. So here it is.

It is a kind of car that transports money. It uses 500 triangles (body and four wheels). As you can notice, there are too many blurred and dark areas. I was enjoying the painting process, so I exaggerated a little bit.

Download link. (.blend, textures, Lightwave object, Wavefront object).

Edit:
If anyone wants to see the topology or a spin, download the attached video.

Bye. =P

Oh yeah 5louis are you using blender? Could you tell me how to get really simple uv maps like the one you used on that one?

Yes. It will be a pleasure:

1. Enter UV Face Select mode;
2. Select some visible faces;
3. Press U->Select Project from view. This will place the faces in the UV map exactly like what you see in the view port.

For example, to map this car, I performed the steps 2 and 3 for each of the six sides.

Have fun.

Thanks dude. But wouldn't that effect if we want it in a fpsc game? Or won't it?

Deathead:

All the UV info will be saved when you export it as an X file, so no, doing that won't effect the result in FPSC.
