I've seen that the greater the number of objects loaded, or rather the greater number of polygons loaded, I find deleting objects takes increasingly longer.

With a blank programme I can create and delete a 4 poygon meshed model in about 1/1000th second. Then testing with a programme having loaded models totalling around 60,000 polygons, creating the same 4 polygon meshed model and deleting it takes around 1 second. That's one second to delete 4 polygons!!

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it worth mentioning to Lee or is there a way around this to get good "object delete" times for low polygon objects in high polygon scene?

i've noticed this too... for some reason if you hide the object before you delete it will delete it faster but this doesn't work every time... i think it also depends wether or not the object is in the screen...well...i hope that helps...

Weird O_o. Perhaps it has to do with the size of the object memory? Not an optimal way to handle things, certainly...
