hey man, got my copy of X10... Looks good and runs mint. One issue though? When I export a game and run it, I have no button for new game. Just game menu, saved game and exit. How can I fix this or have I built the game wrong? Anyone else with this issue. By the way great job guys as the tests games run smooth with 50 enemies in a room!

Thanks and any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks guys and again great job! My system specs are up to par with a quad processor and dual 8800 cards with 3 gig of mem.

Thanks again!

I even built a level TGC created and still no way to start the game. Am I missing something here?

Did you edit the "Level Settings" on the build menu?

If yes, you might have deleted somethign you shouldn't in there.

If not, give me a min. to try to build a game and check it myself.

EDIT: Ok, i made a quick build test to the "simple" test map, and heres what i found out:

While hte game is built, the game doesn't copy the "newgame.tga" to your built game folder (location: gamecorebackdropsbasic).

Easy fix: go to the folder where you isntalled FPSx10 (default: Crogram FilesThe Game CreatorsFPS Creator X10Fileslanguagebankenglishgamecorebackdropsbasic) and copy the "newgame.tga" to the same folder where your built game is located.

This will fix it

i'm reporting this to the bug topic right now.

Nice, thanks and I will try that out. I am sure that fixes it.

Thanks again as I see the simple map does have the buttons just not my games....

Yeah, it runs really smooth, and uhh.. only now i noticed that the location to the folder where the newgame.tga is located got a bit screwed when i posted yesterday, sorry about that :S

But it seems you managed to get it working

Have fun with FPsx10

Regards, DJ
