After a series of serious computer and electrical failures resulting in repairs in excess of $9,000, the staff of Real Game Tools is just now regaining access to the Internet. To speed data recovery and to ship current orders immediately, we ask for your assistance. If you placed an order with Real Game Tools and have not received it to date, please send an email directly to [email protected].

(We wish to thank the staff at DarkBASICPro.com for assisting with some order fulfillment.)

Please include your approximate order date and payment method, and your order will be shipped within 24 hours.

Also, Real Game Tools has hired a new staff member to handle order fulfillment starting July 1st, so I can continue with new developments for DBPro. Thank You for your patience, and I hope to be able to get to the forums and answer for this very soon.

uh, well Guy Savoie, if you return to develop for DBPRO, fix the fold/unfold of the functions, i.e. if you edit an unfolded functions, it not works.try by yourself, but not in all function fail.

I also emailed you this that you could have, might not have, probably didn't recieve:

Not a problem but incase you didn't realise the v1.09 upgrade doesn't update the keywords feature properly. In the setup it says:

Changed the directory layout for keywords files. There is now a folder called keywords. The editor now scans for all .ini files, and adds them together when building the keywords file. This allows us to issue updates with new files, instead of requiring constant revisions. It also allows people who created third party commands to supply independent keyword files for their commands.

However when you run the editor, I'm guessing it still looks in a keywords folder because now all the syntax highlighting for keywords cease to work and the Ctrl+Space feature returns "no commands found" but the setup never actually created the folder nor did it create an ini file within the folder that holds all the keywords and so those problems occur. I was forced to manually create a keywords folder and copy and paste the 'keywords.ini' file from the FrontEnd folder for syntax highlighting to be reenabled.

Although for me it now works, you may want to notify people of this problem or post a fix because I'm sure others are getting the same thing. Other then that, great work on the IDE, thanks.

Just incase it hasn't been fixed yet

It's great to see you back Guy

I did notice a little problem with the function folding myself but I assume you'll be busy with orders for a while, eh

Yeah, there are several other bugs I became aware of (including the folding one):

1. The "Fold All Functions" menu commands, although they actually fold the functions, they don't appear folded and you must first unfold one for them all to fix.

2. Sometime through a hefty coding session I'll find that any text I type within a function doesn't appear and I'll have to fold/unfold it for it to show up.

3. Not really a bug but it's a real pain in the ass to right click and move "To Do List" items up and down the list.

4. On very rare occasions the program will cease to compile and won't until the program is rerun.

I'll try and gather more details on why some of these may happen, things like #4 seem to be a freak of nature though.

Sometimes, I get an error that says something like Access Violation [numbers] Read addres [numbers, more numbers].
If it happens once, it will happen every 20-30 seconds until I close DBPro and open it again.
